We (Stefanie and Johannes Sebelin) are happy to open our house to guests and – when on site – are always happy to provide tips and a good conversation. of course, we respect the privacy of our guests, just as we wish for ourselves. We welcome dogs. The garden in the rear area is exclusively for the hosts, the ground floor apartment has its own terrace area and fenced garden and can be accessed via the kitchen patio door or from the parking lot side. The attic apartment can use the garden area opposite the house, where there is also seating next to the apple trees. A small trusting flock of sheep lives on the house mature, which welcomes every guest, as well as a small, colorful community of hens with their friendly rooster.

We find this place to be a place of power – full of positive energy. It is close to tourist attractions, the Eider and the Wadden Sea. Here you live next door to lovely farmers – there are no pig fattening or battery chicken laying facilities in the neighborhood. Accordingly there is no typical odor nuisance or health risk. All neighbors deliver their milk regionally to the Osthusum dairy in the neighboring village of Witzwort, where there is also a nice little farm shop with regional products.

You can park comfortably without any extra costs on site and if you arrive with an electric car you can also charge at our private wallbox for a fair fee.

“Simmerdeis an der Gracht” in Friedrichstadt also belongs to the Warft Simmerdeis group. These are two canal houses directly on the canal with a view of the water and two stylish loft apartments with a large terrace on the ground floor and a roof terrace on the first floor.

The big canal house – called “Großes Grachtenhaus” was completely renovated at the end of 2022 and offers space for 4-6 people on three floors with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a yoga room, a spacious living and dining room area and has an outdoor terrace.

The little canal house – called “Kleines Grachtenhaus” was recently renovated and went on the market in 2025. It offers generous sleeping accommodation for 4 people with 3 bedrooms on 2 floors, a bathroom and an open kitchen, dining and living area an has a balcony on the 1st floor off one of the bedrooms. The two loft apartments were built in an old worksop in 2022 and completed in 2023 and offer a loft feeling with plenty of space for 2-3 people. The facility is designed to a very high quality inside and out and we provide our guests with 2 kayaks, 2 SUPs and a large Canadian canoe free of charge for their leisure program for the duration of their stay to explore Friedrichstadt´s canals and the Treene river from the water. A jetty for easy access or boarding is right in front of the door. We have storage facilities for the bicycles you bring with you.
